Bealice Cavalier was a Louisiana native and the mastermind behind the secret DEUVO praline recipe. Growing up in New Orleans she had a passion for cooking, putting her own spin on classic Creole, Cajun, and even her Southern-Sunday-dinner dishes. Out of everything she whipped up, it was her recipe for pecan pralines that stood the test of time and lasted, in one form or another, for over 80 years.
